Asamoah Gyan not throwing in the towel

Asamoah Gyan is not ready to give up on Ghana, with the forward eager to continue his international career despite calls for him to hang up his boots and make way for the next generation.

Gyan, 31, believes he still has a lot to offer despite showing signs of decline in recent times.

"The past three years have been very difficult, fitness-wise," Gyan told KweseESPN.

"I try to use my experience to do a lot of things. Somebody will say, 'he is done,' but I am not done. It is just the circumstances."

Tyson admits that being captain brings pressure

Boasting a record of 51 goals in 105 games for the Black Stars, Gyan has unmatched experience and it seems only fair that he decides when it's time to retire from national duty.
