Dortmund goalkeeper Bürki lauds Aubameyang

Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper Roman Bürki has praised Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's finish against Ingolstadt on Friday night.

Gabon international Aubameyang scored the only goal of the game in the 14th minute in a German Bundesliga match which was played in Dortmund.

The Swiss shot-stopper was also pleased to have kept a cleansheet, while 27-year-old Aubameyang made it 23 goals in 23 league matches.

“Ingolstadt did very well. They worked incredibly hard, they defended well, they were physical and won a lot of second balls," Bürki told Bundesliga.com.

"That’s why we had a hard time getting into the game. We scored with one of our few decent attack.

"Shinji (Kagawa) did superbly in the build-up, (Marcel) Schmelzer’s cross was excellent and Aubameyang’s finish was sublime," he said.

"I’m happy to have won and that we’ve kept a clean sheet.”
