Township Rollers star Gabonamong wary of CNaPS

Township Rollers defender Mogogi Gabonamong says they need to avoid concentration lapses during their clash with CNaPS on Saturday.

The Botswana giants Rollers will host Madagascar side CNaPS in the second-leg of the 2017 CAF Champions League preliminary round in Gaborone.

CNaPS stunned the reigning Botswana Premier League (BPL) champions 2-1 in the first-leg encounter which was played in Antananarivo last weekend.

"Last week in Madagascar we conceded the first goal late in first half injury time.
We then equalized in the second half but still let in a second goal," Gabonamong told the club's official website.

"We will need to avoid such concentration lapses; we should be firmly focused throughout the match in order to go through.

"From last Saturday's match we believe we can beat CNaPS. We now know what they are about, they can posses the ball well and they have a dead ball specialist so we need to minimize mistakes especially around our penalty box," he said.

"We have very capable and talented defenders, we should avoid negative peer pressure and be ambitious, and if we play to our strengths, we will get the result," Gabonamong added.

The winner on aggregate between Rollers and CNaPS will take on either Cameroonian giants Coton Sport or Atlabara FC of South Sudan in the first-round.
