Johnson: We must remain grounded

Platinum Stars coach Cavin Johnson wants his charges to remain grounded and to go to Limpopo in an aim to get the full three points.

Dikwena will be hoping to return to winning ways in the Absa Premiership as they opened their second round campaign with a 0-0 draw against Orlando Pirates.

Although they beat Mozambican side Uniao Do Songo 1-0 in the CAF Confederation Cup, the coach will want his side to remain disciplined on Wednesday night.

Stars occupy the 12th spot with 15 points from the same number of matches - they only have three wins thus far.

Dikwena will seek revenge and Johnson said they must ensure they get something in Polokwane to keep their 2017 run intact.

“It is going to be a tough match for both teams, everybody is looking for points as we all,” said Johnson.

“We have to carry on doing well and we know they will be a tough team at home. They will use their advantage.

“However, we will have to fight for the full three and challenge them. We drew against Pirates and won in the CAF competition, so this means we will have to remain grounded.

"We must collect as many points as we can and try to avoid dropping points.”

Peter Mokaba Stadium is the venue on Wednesday night with kick-off set for 19h30.
