Mamelodi Sundowns deny Anthony Laffor to Kaizer Chiefs rumours

Mamelodi Sundowns have denied reports that Anthony Laffor has signed a pre-contractual agreement with Kaizer Chiefs.

The Liberia international has been linked with a move to the Amakhosi and with only six months remaining on his current deal, the 31-year-old can pen a deal with the club of his choice.

The Brazilians media officer, Thulani Thuswa, though has denied such rumours with the club in the dark regarding the winger's movements.

"We have also heard that Laffor has joined Kaizer Chiefs but we have not been officially informed," Thuswa told PowerFM. "Laffor is still our player, has a contract until June.

"If he has really signed with Chiefs, we are yet to know. If our negotiations with Laffor fail, then he is allowed to join a club of his choice because he is in the last six months of his contract.

Sundowns will be eager to keep hold of Laffor with teammate Keagan Dolly heavily linked with a move to Europe.
