Cameroonian coach Deutsch tasked to lead Heartland back to top league
Cameroonian coach Emmanuel Deutsch has been tasked to ensure Heartland return to the Nigeria premier league promptly.
Heartland were relegated for the very first time in their history this past season.
And now new coach Deutsch has been handed the mandate to win promotion to the NPFL at the first time of asking.
The supervisor of the club and deputy speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly, Ugonna Ozuruigbo, assured the club of the government's support and resolve to assist the club to return to the top flight in one season.
The top official announced that the government has acquired an apartment for the new coach with an official car.
He charged the coach to live up to his pedigree by returning the club to the top flight.
Deutsch solicited the support of the media, fans and supporters of the club to be partners in the new Project.
He informed the media that there is no old or new player for Heartland rather he promised to treat every player equally.
The team will resume training on November 29 at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri by 7am.
