Doctor rules out 6 Heartland players after crash

The chief medical director at the Maiduguri Specialist Hospital has ruled that six Heartland players, who were badly injured when the team were involved in a motor accident Wednesday, are unfit to play any match for now.

This followed an analysis of the ex-ray report of five of the players as well as physical examination this morning on the sixth player, Ebele Obi, whose case appears to be worse than the others.

The five players are Chinedu Efugh, Macmarcel Obioha, Kingsley Ajaero, Owusu Antonin and Chidiebere Ajoku, all first-team players.
